Someone said that staying here is like camping without the tent.
The floor area is about 25 m sq (the main room is 14 ft sq).
Hot water is by gas immersion. There is a radio, no TV. It's well insulated. The back door faces a private 4 acre sessile oak woodland, home to birds and bats. Organic figs, plums, and blackberries mature in August and September and guests are welcome to pick them.

The absence of traffic noise makes the silence deafening
. The night skies are
fantastic, there is no light pollution. There is no swimming pool. It's so quiet
you can concentrate on the sounds of insects. Bird song includes nightingales,
skylarks, golden orioles, buzzards and owls.
The weekly rates including linen and essentials (but not heating) vary between
€190 and €330. Changeover day by arrangement, usually Saturday.
